Oatmeal Clay

1 cup rolled oats (instant or old fashioned)
2/3 cup all-purpose flour, plus extra
1/2 cup water
Food Coloring (optional) - add to water before adding to dry ingredients if wanted

1.  Stir together all the ingredients in a bowl until the mixture forms a lump, adding more flour if needed.

2. Knead it on a floured surface until the mixture is smooth and not too sticky.

This recipe provides hours of creating fun but if left out overnight, it will harden.  Put the extra away in a ziploc baggie for another time.  Can be refrigerated up to 3 days.
