Store Loyalty Card
Homeland offers a free store loyalty card that must be used to get the sale prices.
Coupons
Homeland stores accept manufacturer coupons from inserts and from the internet. They double coupon values up to $1 everyday. That means they will double a $1 off coupon and give you $2 off for it. On rare occasions they will advertise double coupons to $2.
If you have 2 of the same coupon, they will ONLY double the first one. Any others you have will be for face value. You may, however, do multiple transactions so that all of your coupons will give you the double value. Plus, look at the scan codes on the coupons. If the coupons are for the same item, but with different amounts or scan codes, they will then both double.
They do not accept expired coupons.
Free coupons do not "double".
Coupons with DND (do not double) will not double.
Homeland store coupons can be used with a manufacturer coupon on one item. Homeland store coupons will not double.
Note: Sign up at the site because Homeland has been known to send some great coupons snail mail.

If an item is $1.52 and you have a coupon for $1 off that item, the computers will scan the coupon and give you $1.52 for the item, no overage.
If an item is marked down for a sale price, it USUALLY, will double the coupon amount and give you overage. Stores are different on this, so please try one at your store to understand if it works there before checking out a ton of items.
Rainchecks
Homeland offers rainchecks for out of stock items on sale. Just ask for one. They are good for 30 days from the time you are given it. This is great, as it allows you time to find a great coupon to pair up with the sale item.

When they have sales for 10/$10, you only need to buy what you really want. They will ring up at $1 apiece.
Their BOGO (buy one get one free) deals ring up at the register for 1/2 price.
