Do you wish you could get your grocery shopping budget under control without a huge hassle?  Well, it's not as difficult as you may think.  The money you spend on groceries is probably one of your biggest expenses during the month.

Don't believe it?

Grab your checkbook and bank statements.  Add up all of your grocery shopping amounts, including those "quick trips" for that one or two items you are always forgeting about until the last minute.  Don't forget all those times you ate out, grabbed something "small" at the local convenience store and that "must have" cup of Joe.

Shocked?  Surprised?

Most people are.  Don't worry though.  With a small time investment, you can save quite abit of money.  Think of it in terms of working pay.  The amount of time spent saving the money vs. the amount you are saving.  You will probably be saving more than you could earn in the same amount of time.

Start off slowly so you don't get overwhelmed.  Try one new idea every week at the grocery store and before you know it, you may find yourself saving as much as half of what you use to spend!

Read up on some of the how-to articles in the different grocery shopping sections here at Moms All Stop, and in a few months time, when your new system is working for you, drop us a note and tell us how well you were able to do.  You may even figure out a new trick or two you can end up sharing with us!!

Good Luck and Happy Bargin Shopping!!

Drop us a line on well you are doing at Gretchen@MomsAllStop.com, and every month we will choose  new readers stories to share with our other moms to help inspire them to do as well

Grocery Shopping 101
Are you cringing every time you go grocery shopping and write out that check?  Prices are getting out of hand in the grocery stores any more.  I, personally, can't believe how much prices have jumped recently.  Check out this article on what you can do to buy groceries without going into debt.
Couponing 101
This article shows you tips and techniques for using coupons, sales, and pricebooks to save you even more money at the store.
Grocery Shopping
Going to the grocery store can take a huge bite out your budget.  Most experts agree that it is the second largest bill we pay each month (mortgages are usually the first).
Start treating coupons as though they are cash and you'll stop wasting them and save yourself some of the green stuff.
According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the typical American household of 4 spends more than $600 on food every month.
GAS SAVER
Recently two different grocery stores in my area, Reasors and Food Pyramid began offering a service where you can shop online for your groceries and either pick them up for $5 or have them delivered for $10.  I know some people don't want to spend the money having someone shop for them where others feel it's worth the extra money because they don't usually stick to their lists and spend more than that on impulse shopping.  I like this new system for one major reason - I can see how much each store charges for their groceries and shop for what I want where it is the cheapest.  I still go do the shopping, I just use the websites to compare costs and it saves money on gas not to have to drive around to the different stores just to check prices.
