Beauty Tips
Bloated and Sore Muscles
Take a ginger-infused bath.  The warm water will open the pores allowing the properties of ginger to flush the harmless compounds that cause bloating from the body, all the while, the anti-inflammatory properties of ginger will relieve your achy muscles.

Frizzy Hair
If your hair frizzes in warm weather, grab an ice cube!  Just run the ice lightly over your hair after styling it and the coolness will seal the open cuticles that cause it to frizz.

Treat Dandruff
Mix 2 Tbsp. of coconut oil with 2 Tbsp. of lemon juice.  Massage the mixture into your scalp, then rinse with warm water.

Make-Up Tips
Mascara
If you like to push the mascara wand in and out of the tube to thicken up the wand, DON'T.  It causes air to go into the tube, which in turn dries out your mascara.

Eye Pencils
Put eye pencils and lip liners in the refrigerator to chill before sharpening them.  They are less likely to break.

Make-up Brushes
Once a month soak your makeup brushes in a container of warm soapy water.  Rinse until the water runs clear.  Air dry.

Manicures
To make your manicure last longer, brush the polish horizontally across the nail tips after applying your two coats of polish.

Nails
To shine your nails, scrub them with an old toothbrush and whitening toothpaste.  Rinse.

Anti-wrinkle Creams
Consumer reports has found that luxury-priced products of anti-wrinkle creams don't work any better than drugstore brands.  The best one, Olay Regenerist, reduced the average depth of wrinkles by less than 10% - barely visible difference to the human eye.
